The most commonly treated ailment are: Headaches, migraines, head pressure, TMD (Temporomandibular Disc) and TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint) dysfunction, deviated septum, sinus issues, sinusitis, scoliosis, lordosis (swayback), kyphosis (hunchback), sciatica, sleep apnea, neck pain, back pain, effects from injury and trauma (motor vehicle accidents, sports injuries, whiplash, concussion, falls, impact injuries). NCR may also be beneficial for: vision disturbance, vertigo, balance issues, anxiety, tinnitus, chronic ear infections, chiari malformation, insomnia, orthodontic issues, shoulder pain, plantar fasciitis.
A special note about Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and related syndromes: NCR can be highly beneficial for people with FM and CFS, especially when integrated into a comprehensive approach to these complex syndromes. It is important to note, however, that people with FM and CFS may have a prolonged period of after effects from the treatment, and as such, treatment may need to be approached more slowly.
Although NCR is a wonderful, functional therapy that restores optimal form and function, it does NOT treat all disorders. NCR is not to be used as a primary treatment for: autoimmune conditions, allergies, cancer, obesity, diabetes (type I and II), severe depression, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism and other endocrine disorders.
Absolute contraindications for NCR include: acute fracture (nose, face, neck, back), suspected or confirmed brain tumor, aneurysm, bleeding disorders and severe osteoporosis.
